Wow! I made it to Chihuahua.
Today was crazy. I got about an hour and a half of sleep and my travel leader that I went to airport with did not speak English.
I slept the entire plane ride hahah. Anyway, I arrived in Chihuahua and the mission president picked me up and we went to his house for some breakfast. His wife made an awesome breakfast with hot chocolate and their whole house is decked out in Christmas decorations. It honestly felt like home.
After we ate they brought us to our house and let us take like a 3 hour nap. Then I went to the chapel and met my companion. He is awesome! He speaks very little English but he has a very energetic personality. We spent the rest of the day going around talking to people handing out cards and trying to set up appointments for later. He had me talk a good amount which was an interesting experience. There are a lot of dogs here and actually a lot of nice places that are wealthy and a lot of places that are very poor.
Anyway, that's really all I have for today. Can't wait to see how this week goes.
Los Amo,
Elder Lignell
