whats crackin?!?!
It's been a good week. Some crazy stuff happened. I got a call from the sisters in a place called Ojinaga at 12 am the other day. They told me that something bad happened over there and that they were packing their bags and that they needed bus tickets in 8 hours. I don't think I'm allowed to say what happened haha but if you ask me after my mish I'll tell you.
One funny thing happened this week that I'm a little ashamed of. I had to call some missionaries to ask them something the other day and when I called them I heard like screaming and a bunch of noise in the background. I jokingly asked them if they were beating up a cat. They told me that they were in a lesson and it was an investigator's daughter who was making all that noise. And the worst part was that the investigator heard me ask if they were beating up a cat. I felt sooo soo bad haha. But the good new is that the investigator was really cool and thought it was way funny and she didn't get mad at all. I have to be more careful about what I say!
We have some cool investigators right now. Their not progressing super fast but they are progressing little by little.
I love you all! Have a great week!

Week 75 in Chihuahua - May 11, 2019 - Happy Almost Mother's Day
Hey, it's almost Mother's Day. It was Mother's Day here in Mexico yesterday. Hermana Montoya (President Montoya's wife) is the greatest! I'm going to miss them when they leave in July.
The president would like us missionaries to start using messenger bags again instead of backpacks, so I guess I need to either buy one here or have you send me one Mom. Unfortunately, the one I brought on my mission wore out long ago!
It has pretty busy here. Sometimes when we have to work late in the office, we have to call an Uber to get to our apartment even though it isn't too far away, we aren't allowed to walk that late. And we've had a few Uber drivers kind of upset when they find out they've driven all the way to get us, just to take us a short distance, but most of them are pretty nice.
It is kind of interesting because sometimes we have to have missionaries come and stay over night because they need to have training at the office and when they leave, we notice the ones who don't clean up after themselves. I never thought I would notice stuff like that, but I think mom will be glad that I am and even more so that it bugs me. haha
Well, I'm sorry but I have to run. Lots to do!
Love you all!

Week 74 in Chihuahua - May 4, 2019 - Hot Chocolate
yo yo whats up everyone!!
We have had a pretty good week. First off Federico is looking way good. The other day we taught he the word of wisdom and it probably was one of the best lessons we've ever had in my whole mission. And at the end of the lesson he told us that he would live the word of wisdom for ever.
The next day we went to his house to give him chocolate to make hot chocolate so that he would have a replacement for coffee. His face lit up when we gave it to him and he said that in the morning he almost made coffee but he remembered why he shouldn't and said to him self "no no no ya no" and then he said to us, "Muchas gracias, de verdad les agradezco de todo corazon" (Much thanks, from the bottom of my heart I know this is true) He will be baptized one day I'm sure of it.
I'm doing good here in Chihuahua. I have officially finished a girls mission haha. I love bringing people to the knowledge of their savior. I feel so thankful to know the purpose of our life here, and I definitely feel the responsibility to share it with all that I can.
I love you all so much!!!

Week 73 in Chihuahua - April 27, 2019 - New Pants and a Crazy Week!
Hey everyone,
So, Mom, I got my new pants and I'm wearing them. They fit perfect and I guess it was a good idea to have you send me another pair even though I was trying to make the ones with lots of holes in them last my entire mission. haha
Wow what a week. This without a doubt has been one of the most busy, tiring and crazy weeks of my life.
First off on Sunday night we had to tell the entire mission about their changes and take all the dates and do a program on the computer that's called the Bulletin. We got to the house to sleep at 3 in the morning and I set my alarm for 4:30 a.m.
In the morning we had to go pick up the new missionaries at the airport. We brought them to the president's house and then we went to the church to start sending all the missionaries who had changes to their new areas and then after that we had a meeting with the them and then took them to go contact with their trainers.
We then got home and starting preparing our lessons for tomorrow. We finished at like midnight and we woke up at like 6 a.m. to get everything ready. We got the meeting done and then we had to start buying bus tickets for all of the zone leaders so that they could come for the leadership council. We also had a long night preparing for all that and we had to wake up early again haha I don't remember the times very well.
Long story short, yesterday was like the first real day where we could sleep and it was great.
I honestly wouldn't put my self through weeks like this one if I didn't know that this church and gospel are true. Being super tired and exhausted doesn't hurt too bad knowing that you are doing it for Christ.
One cool story for this week happened today. Like a week ago we put up signs with our number saying that there is a class called "Come Follow Me" in the church and our number and today in the morning someone called us saying that they want to go to church and that they are going to invite more people... sounds great to me!
I have another companion. His name is Elder Vasconcelos. He has been my companion before. I have repeated companions 3 times in the mission.
That's all I got for guys, love you all!
