Week 59 in Chihuahua - January 21, 2019 - We Will Be Your Friends

yo yo yo what's up everyone?

How ya all been?  This week was good. We have a good amount of people that we are teaching so we haven't been contacting that much for the lack of time.

We have a family that would want to get baptized but the couple needs to get married. We will try to get them married this week, but I have no clue how to but we will figure it out haha.

Yesterday we went to teach a lady that has a lot of problems. She is overweight and drinks a bunch and can't sleep good and doesn't have any friends and can't eat a bunch of stuff and is depressed. When she was telling this to us, I said, "Well don't worry because you now have 2 friends. She got so happy! We gave her a blessing the other day so that she could sleep better and she slept great and now every time that we come to visit her she wants a blessing :)

We are going to baptize some kids name Christian and Joan this week. They are awesome. Their mom is less active but we are trying to activate her. The other day we had a lesson with the kids getting them ready for the baptism in a tree haha. Never thought and I would do that in my mission but I have some pics to prove it hahha.

P.S. Gabriela the lady that has a lot of problems just called us asking where she should read in the Book of Mormon :)  I think she'll get baptized one day!

Week 58 in Chihuahua - January 14, 2019 - 7 Investigators On One Sunday

Yo yo what's up everyone!!?!?!?!?

It's been a great week here. We found so many people this week. First off we were able to bring 7 investigators to church!!!

That was fun but also stressful because I didn't know who to sit by!! But after the first hour I went to the exit doors to make sure that they  would all stay for the next class haha. They all stayed and they all loved it!!!

After church we went to visit someone named Oswaldo. He told us that he loved church and wants to come every Sunday. He's super humble. He lives in a little room with his whole family. After church some members bought some medicine for his baby because the baby was sick and he didn't have any money to buy him anything.

A family came to church with us too.  A mom and her two daughters. They also said that they loved it and after church we were saying goodbye to them and one of the daughters kissed my companion on the check hahaha.  He tried to pull away but she was too fast! I was dying. And  when I shook her hand to say goodbye  I extended my arm as far as I could so that she couldn't do the same with me.  It was so awkward.

Anyway it was a great week and I'm  pumped for the weeks that are coming!

Week 57 in Chihuahua - January 7, 2019 - One Amazing Day

Yo yo yo what's up everybody? Life is good out here. We are teaching a woman named Aide and I think Aide might get baptized this week.

She has been struggling to get an answer from God to see if she should get baptized or not but she came to church yesterday and I was listening to the testimonies and the class lesson and I felt like the things that were said were meant just for her. I just hope she was paying attention haha.

We had a great week. There was one day we had 11 new investigators. 10 people committed to church. 5 baptism dates were set and we conducted 4 lessons.

It was a great day and I've never had a day like that before. There were so many times I would just stop and say, "Why is the Lord blessing us so much?" I want Aide to get baptized so bad this week. She is great and will be a great member.
